The northern passage appears only in Fallout: New Vegas and serves as the entrance to Zion Canyon in the add-on Honest Hearts. If attempting to attack or pickpocket the caravan members, they will not sustain any damage nor acknowledge the attempt. If the Courier attempts to advance to the end of the cave and leave for Zion Valley without the caravan, a note will read "You will need to travel with the Happy Trails Caravan on your first journey to Zion Valley" and refuse access. If the Courier alienates Ricky prior to the expedition leaving, a third caravan guard will take his place. The Happy Trails Caravan Company expedition members are preparing to leave inside the cave, including caravan boss Jed Masterson and hired hands Stella, Ricky, and two Happy Trails caravan guards. The crate is labeled "Happy Trails Shipping Crate" and is used to store items while traveling to Zion. The passage's interior consists of wooden supports, hanging lanterns, and an empty crate on the left. Afterward, the rocks have been removed, allowing passage to Zion. The northern passage is inaccessible, covered by a barrier of fallen rocks before Honest Hearts has been installed. Two banana yucca plants grow near the cave entrance. The rock has "The sun is killing me" written on it. Mostly, you're supposed to shoot the added NPCs before they take your head off.A grave and a hollowed-out rock containing random minor loot can be found near the cave entrance. Doesn't really detract, as very few of the NPCs it adds are meant to be spoken too and are there for flavor or some minor storytelling when non-hostile. Great fun.Ĭoncerning there being no voice overs, he never added it AFAIK. Oh and one last fun point - add in TheCastle's Increased Wasteland Spawns mod with AWOP and you get total chaos in some areas. Also the M-weapons it adds are rather overpowered for the base game as they were designed with the AWOP dungeons in mind. I can think of a few places in the mod that aren't overly dangerous for various reasons but would give a < level 10 say character a big advantage in the vanilla quests and locations in the game when you add in some of the equipment and items you could pick up there. The only real complaint I have on it is that the mod is rather loot heavy so you may want to hold off on exploring some locations until you're somewhat more advanced in levels and equipment.

Be sure to bring plenty of ammo, chems, repair kits, stimpaks, and other supplies when you attempt its larger dungeons.

As for my thoughts on it, it's a high quality "dungeon romp" mod that's virtually a free DLC now given how much content it adds. There never was a thread on AWOP I don't believe, the author stuck to the Nexus and never announced here.
